Every Friday we will be posting our favorite healthy skin snacks. First up is Kale Chips — if you’ve never made these before you have to try them! The best part is the entire process takes less than 15 minutes.
Kale is an excellent source of phytonutrients as well as Vitamins A, C, and K, and calcium, which represent some of the requisite nutrients for skin health. Kale is also one of the richest sources of lutein and contains beta- carotene, which improves skin elasticity and firmness.

Thanks for the recipe. Speaking of dark-green vegetables, I’ve heard that seaweed (nori) causes acne. Is that true?
Hi Anne, Seaweed itself does not cause acne — BUT it is very high in sodium which can cause inflammation in the body and contribute to acne flare ups. It’s best to not eat too much at once and always follow with water!
yes!
That was a cool recipe…
I heard about that kale is the richest source of a vitamin and you gives a suggestion how to eat it. Thanks for sharing. Keep posting.
